Frankie Goes To Hell

The “music” referenced here, is of course Frankie Teardrop by Suicide, a ten minute marathon of droning synths, lyrics about murdering one’s family, and blood curdling shrieks. Something for everyone there. In a parallel universe (i.e. real life) this incident was resolved not by playing this track, but with something by The Butthole Surfers. It’s all down to personal choice, of course, but if you need to get rid of that annoying someone in slightly altered states of consciousness, then a variety of different artists’ music can be employed to inspire feelings of fear, discomfort, nausea, dizziness and anal leakage. These include, but are not limited to Captain Beefheart, Napalm Death, Gyorgy Ligeti, Comus, Tool, and James Blunt. I tried it myself with We Are Normal by The Bonzo Dog Band, and that did the trick too. On a related note I was once brought to the point of vomiting by listening to a Björk album, but this may have had something to do with the fact that I was drinking quite a lot of (possibly dodgy) cider, and eating (definitely dodgy) chicken McNuggets immediately beforehand.
