More Music For Swinging Snobs
Magma are a notoriously peculiar avant garde French experimental/jazz/progressive rock act who are notable for the fact that they invented their own language (Kobaïan) and were admired by snooker supremo Steve Davis, who financed a concert in London just so that he could “get down” to them.
Check them out here – not only does their singer yelp “Good God Y’All” at the start of the performance – always a shock to hear a french person channel James Brown – but the track sounds suspiciously similar to that Yub Nub song the ewoks sing at the end of the original version of Return of the Jedi.
Edit – That link has disappeared – boo. You’ll have to take my word that it was brilliant…
To make up for it, here’s another small critter performing a tribute to Paris’ finest.

Thanks for sharing. The slogan on the one waffle is killing me.
